Consigliato per tecnici e commerciali, ci sono novità interessanti che possono dare idee di proposta ai clienti. Video novità GlueSync uso interno
—————————————
Thank you for joining today’s Gluesync session, and for all the good questions. Here is a quick recap of what Andrea showed in the 2.3 demo:
– Replication: new progress bar and record counts on source and target, plus a DDL comparison between source and target that you can view and download.
– Query Studio: save, share and schedule statements, or trigger them through a webhook. It also covers direct data editing, PII masking (only a super admin can reveal masked data, unless others are gave permission to) and granular data-access control.
– Spark, the built-in AI: it works with your own LLM provider and API key, with budgets and spending limits. It writes SQL from natural language, analyses errors in the Notifications Hub against the docs, converts old scripts into Java Custom Field Functions (with a debug console and version rollback), and asks for extra confirmation before high-risk actions.
– Grafana: per-agent performance, connections, checkpoints and replication lag, with login through the platform and automatic security updates.
– Query Forge: reach Gluesync over JDBC (for example from DBeaver) and run federated, select-only queries and joins across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle and AS400 without a data warehouse, with unified access policies including Microsoft Entra ID.
– AI Studio: build and run agents, for example one that emails a shipped-orders report, posts JSON to an endpoint or writes to a table.
– Validator (new in 2.3): a 3-step wizard to find and reconcile differences between source and target, row by row or in bulk, on a schedule or via webhook. This first version covers one-to-one conversions, and support for complex transformations follows in the coming weeks.
– Enterprise Brain: background indexing of metadata from connected databases, prompt generation for external AI tools and MCP support.
– Also: ordinal column mapping (handy for AS400), a dedicated mapping-errors tab, easier log collection for support, and personal access tokens to connect OpenAI, Claude Desktop, Cursor or Windsurf.
Next steps:
– 2.3 GA is due at the end of this week or early next week, and the beta is already available. Giovanni, you can install it through the official beta channel, and Andrea and I are here to help. We’ll email everyone when 2.3 is out.
– Next month we’d like to set up a dedicated session on transaction auditing and the analysis tool for older databases.
– We’re also adding POC tracking to the Partners Portal next month, including a flag to mark customer systems in production.
– If you’re running customer demos of the 2.3 features, Andrea and I are happy to support you.Useful links:
